Reviews by a Guest - mcnx - March 19, 2010, 4:39 am This script has a beautifull design and a lot of potential, but it's not hundred percent ready yet. It queries a lot and is quite unstable. I got a complaint from my host regarding excessive traffic (more than 2500 emails in the mail queue) while trying to register just one user. As I said, it's a nice script but needs more work. Close but no cigar yet by a Guest - socially - May 7, 2010, 1:46 pm Great script, agree with the unsteadiness. Updates keep coming in betas, or are they alphas? with each update a new beta and features that workied beautifully seem to go ary. They are on the right path, functions needs to be scaled way back and they need to concentrate on stability. IDK by a Guest - lustolog - June 5, 2010, 8:34 pm It's extremely hard for me to create my own template/Page because it has no option within Dolphin to do so. I don't see how this is "user friendly" to anyone who doesn't know how to code pages. Hope I can get some help. Plus it has no tutorial to do so. Believe me, I've spent several hours looking and trying to figure this thing out. Amazing by a Guest - Guest - November 24, 2010, 2:46 am I jumped into Dolphin after making countless Joomla sites and yes with any new script it takes time to learn it. Now after using Dolphin 7 for the last month I can say there are so so many possibilities and customizations. If you study and learn as much as possible you too can push this script to the limits and still never come close to seeing its full potential. Amazing... :-) Not ready for prime time by a Guest - crystalk - August 13, 2010, 7:58 pm Beautiful site but the mods needed to make it 'yours' require you to learn a lot of coding. This is time that noone has, except for developers. The commmuity is vibrant but they are mainly focused on modules, and not the underlying portal software itself. Poor by a Guest - campdota - August 30, 2010, 12:46 pm Unstable, many ads, bad configure ... i dont like Horrible. by a Guest - edwolfe - September 12, 2010, 6:12 am Have used Dolphin 7x for several months now, and hate it. My users hate it too. The code is very sloppy -- excessive SQL queries, poorly designed template system, very hard to figure out where to go to change something. I need a software package that drives my community... but doesn't drive them AWAY. It by a Guest - flipside - December 27, 2010, 3:56 pm it is a powerful, and modern application Boonex by a Guest - mrbrakes - April 2, 2011, 7:10 am I'm using Dolphin 7 and find it to be usefull, but it does beat Skadate.com by far. Dolphin 7 has flexability to customize for each person. by a Guest - - September 28, 2011, 1:29 pm Dolphin 7 is very very very good!!
